

Drone Safety Cases
A Safety Case is a systematic, structured collation of all safety-related information associated with a process, system or operation. A Drone Safety Case aims to achieve the following:

Collate all safety-related information concerning the flight, the UAS and the Organisation responsible for the flight campaign or mission.

Present a single safety dossier of evidence to prove that all flight operations will be safe, when carried out within the ambit of the evidence provided within the Safety Case.

Present a single safety dossier of information to present to an Aviation Authority, towards issuing of appropriate permits, certificates, authorisations, permissions, waivers and so forth, towards commencement of experimental or regular flight operations.

Compel all stakeholders involved with preparation and execution of the flight to consider all risks and mitigate all undesirable safety conditions.
